Epic Business Analyst - 6 months

PS (Patient Services) Business Transformation Analyst

 Contract role, 6 months, weekly travel reimbursed

Job Role:

• Reports to the BT PS Project Manager
• responsible for understanding current business processes to define requirements for future state Epic systems build and workflow redesign within project schedules
• represents operational leadership within the project team to ensure that system build and workflow redesign align with operational and organizational objectives
• works closely with the EAPM PMO PM, Systems Integration PM, other EAPM Project Managers, ITD, Training PMs and Subject Matter Experts on collaborative design, build and testing of system design and workflow changes
• coordinates issue identification and escalation from design and test sessions
• creates and maintains process and reference flowcharts or documentation
• position may assist with financial and business data analysis to assess and/or track and report project value, status and progress metrics
• promote a positive attitude towards the project and be a motivating change agent for all internal and external contacts

Skills and Experience:

• Certification in ADT/Prelude
• Strong working knowledge and experience in the workflow of health care and revenue cycle operations.
• Must have the ability to perform process reviews, provide payer/provider requirements and prepare process/flowchart documentation. 
• Demonstrated ability to work with teams in the completion of projects as well as ability to work independently.
•  Demonstrate high level ability and working knowledge of computer systems, software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation products) and web technologies. 
• - Strong process flow expertise and expertise with business process redesign and process improvement techniques are required.
• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills are essential.
