Position Description:
TS clearance is required, with ability to qualify for TS/SCI clearance. Position Description:
Senior Software Engineer for research and development in security applications. The candidate will participate in all aspects of R&D, from concept development to prototype demonstration. A strong background in software engineering, networking protocols (including IPv4), and one or more areas of security (e.g., vulnerability analysis, IP security, malware analysis, cryptography) is required. Familiarity with theoretical computer science and discrete math topics (e.g., automata theory, operating systems theory, compilers, graph theory, etc.), IPv6, Java, C/C++, disassemblers (e.g., IdaPro), or Assembly language (Intel or others) is desirable.
Qualifications:
M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, or related discipline with 5 years experience in software development and security. Knowledge of network protocols (IPv4) is a must. Candidate should be capable of engaging in self-directed work as well as participating in a larger team. Original thought and creative problem solving skills are a must.
Top Secret clearance is required with ability to qualify for SCI clearance.
