JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assignment:
Our client is looking for someone to participate in the base development of the evaluation for a program focusing on security assurance for secure database transactions. This will include work on developing comprehensive evaluations, including models of database and network behavior,
metric creation and calculation, validation, and analysis tools to enable quantitative testing in realistic environments. The candidate will work as a member of the assessment team for this program.
Required skills:
· Must be able to design, implement, test, and debug complex software systems
· Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
· Understand advanced research designs and capabilities
Additional desired skills:
· Experience programming in Python and/or C/C++
· Experience creating and tuning SQL queries
· Familiarity with network programming, and multi-threaded programming
· Experience with Linux
Education: BS/BA or higher
