Compressive Sensing Engineer (We Sponsor Clearances)

The individual will research and develop advanced signal processing algorithms for a broad range of applications including radar, wireless communications, acoustic sensing, biological and/or imaging systems. 

Successful candidates will work as part of a team developing, applying and evaluating state-of-the-art signal processing algorithms for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance type applications. 

The individual will perform mathematical analysis and computer simulation and be part of a team that designs and executes field experiments, builds prototypes and processes recorded data to support development of applications.

Candidates must have knowledge of signal processing and communication theory including course work in probability and statistics; linear algebra; detection and estimation theory; signals and systems; and convex optimzation. 

Working knowledge and/or strong background in compressive sensing and sparse approximation is required.

Candidates should have a Master's or PhD degree in electrical engineering or related area, with a strong background in signal processing.  Outstanding written and oral communication skills along with the ability to work as part of a team are essential. 

Candidates should have solid software skills with MATLAB and C/C++.  Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
