JOB TITLE: Control Systems Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assignment:
Software developer required to support Our Client's experiments with adaptive-optics and tracking systems. Specific tasks include interfacing electo-optical components to computer, implementing control loops in realtime environment, developing user control interfaces, and acquiring data.
Special Talents:
Candidate must have previous experience with hardware interfacing and programming realtime control systems.
Proficiency in C/C++ required.
Some knowledge of optics is also desirable.
Other skills that would be useful are Linux system programming experience, knowledge of Matlab, IDL, PyLab or equivalent, and network programming experience.
