JOB TITLE: PWB/PCB Engineer
# OF POSITIONS: 1
JOB LOCATION: Cambridge
HOURLY RATE: $DOE/hr
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create complex PWB layouts using inputs from the schematic designers and other members of engineering. Design techniques such as differential pairs, length matching, impedance control, blind & buried vias, and BGA routing are critical to completing these designs. Required to create fabrication and assembly documentation and interface with DFM engineers to ensure manufacturability. Knowledge of schematic design best practices required.
Education and Experience:
10+ years direct PWB layout experience required. 3+ years experience with Expedition and DxDesigner (ViewDraw) are also required. AutoCAD experience is strongly preferred. Experience with PADS or Pro-Engineer also a plus. Exceptional communications skills and demonstrated ability to independently drive a layout project to completion required.
