JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assignment: The Signal Processing Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing and assessing software development products and documentation produced during component development for a government customer to ensure they meet requirements and satisfy user needs. The software being developed is flexible in nature serving both as a development environment for prototype algorithms, as well as data processor to mature and harden algorithms.
The Signal Processing Software Engineer shall:
· Perform SW requirements analysis.
· Perform interface and design assessments.
· Assess software strategies (product and process)
· Build software modules valuate software development specifications and procedures for software qualification at various levels.
· Review technical program documentation.
· Provide expert advice to contractor and government team
Travel may be required for technical meetings (25% of time)
Basic Qualifications for this position:
· Experience with parallel processing techniques (SIMD/MIMD) in signal processing, radar or communications (modulation/demodulation) is required.
· Ability to interact and effectively communicate with software developers and military personnel is required.
US citizenship is required, must have Top Secret w/active or current SSBI
