Position: Senior Software Engineer Client Site Processor Team

Location: White Plains, NY

Salary: DOE

The Senior Software Engineer is primarily responsible for C++ and Java application development on CSP products. This role provides technical leadership to other members of the development team, including project and product managers, developers, quality assurance, and management. Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate product requirements and develop detailed specifications
  
• Provide accurate and reliable estimates for assigned project tasks
  
• Design, code, test, debug and integrate effective solutions
  
• Create test plans & test tools (in collaboration with QA Engineers), support testing & address on-line bug reports/issues
  
• Write product support documents and procedures
  
• Maintain products with periodic releases, as needed
  
• Address client support inquiries
  
• Research product issues and recommend solutions  
  

Ideal candidates will have

• A minimum of 2 years of experience, with 5+ years software engineering experience being the preference 
  
• Strong Core C++ programming on UNIX platform
  
• Strong Java programming experience
  
• (IPC-FIFO’s Shared Memory, Semaphores, Signals, Mutex, pthreads, etc)
  
• Strong Development and Design/Architecture skills
  
• A minimum of 2 years of of object oriented development; unit testing and regression testing; version control practices. (5 yrs+ is preferred)
  
• Understanding of project management methodologies and engineering best practices
  
• Leadership abilities
  
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to a broad audience
  
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously
  
• Detail and process oriented
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• BS in Computer Science
