The New Product / Lead Customer Quality Engineer manages several customer accounts in all aspects of Quality and continuous improvement. This person will work with Design Engineering and Process Engineering during new product launches of Sensors for automotive customers focusing on quality objectives. Specific tasks include:
- Developing a strategy to manage specific customer accounts
- Performing risk assessments
- Understanding new customer specific requirements
- Setting quality goals for the new products
- Documenting and working with lessons learned
- Influencing the design process for improved quality
- Writing Control Plans and reviewing high risk processes
- Developing a customer satisfaction plan
- Leading APQP process for customer launches
- Working with Production sites to prepare for launch requirements
- Data Analysis to identify concerns and develop improvement projects
- Corrective action management for customer issues
